Our Topic for Spring

This Spring term reception will be learning all about the world around us. We will be looking at other cultures, our past and present, festivals and celebrations. Also reading stories from other cultures and making dragons, pancakes and musical instruments. Attached is a link to our Reception topic web.

There are lots of fun activities for Spring 2010!

Our trip to Beamish

Despite the cold winter weather Reception enjoyed a fantastic trip to Beamish. We all had the opportunity to make Victorian decorations in one of Beamish's pit cottages, tour around the town, ride on the trams and buses and best of all, to meet Santa Claus.

Here are some wonderful photos taken by Kane's grandparents.

Thanks again to all of our volunteer helpers on the day, we couldn't have done it without you!
