On the 25th June 2009 we spent an exciting day out at Jesmond Dene Park.
We enjoyed pond dipping with the Park Warden Sarah. We identified the different creatures using magnifying glasses and charts.
We looked for minibeasts under logs, in the grass and beneath stones.
We visited pets corner, we saw lots of different birds and animals.
We enjoyed walking around the Dene looking at all the different sights, some of us were lucky enough to see the resident kingfisher! It was very tiring!
We enjoyed our delicious picnic! Yum yum!
We went on scavenger hunts and enjoyed animal spotting.
