Newcastle Falcons

Year 6 recently travelled across to Kingston Park to the ground of the Newcastle Falcons for a fantastic day out.

During the visit we were shown around by one of the Falcons training staff. We were given a full tour of the stadium and even got to explore the changing rooms! Did you know that the stadium has its very own hot tub that can be hired out to watch the match from!

After the tour we went out onto the training pitch and were taught some new skills. The morning finished with a game of tag rugby which was great fun! After lunch we went into the clubhouse to use the 'Falcons Learning Centre'. The computer equipment was fantastic and we were able to edit our own films about the club using still and moving pictures. We even added our own graphics and titles!

A big thankyou to everyone at the Newcastle Falcons for giving us such a great day out.
